Hot on the heels of FIVE viral video singles, “Tea Party Revenge Porn” the first full album since 2014 by Jello Biafra and The Guantanamo School Of Medicine is finally here!
This is very strong stuff. Hear the inimitable Mr. B skewer the place we’ve put ourselves in, like no one else would – or could – as he and The Guantanamo School of Medicine capture the full power of the live shows on disc as never before.
Only so many artists have a track record of lyrics this good, and back it up with music as good or better. It’s usually one of the other, but rarely this fierce, thanks to the wall of sound production of the mysterious Marshall Lawless, with Kurt Schlegel at the board this time.
Co-conspirators now feature both string-titans of longtime AT mainstay Victims Family: guitarist Ralph Spight (also Freak Accident) and wonder bassist Larry Boothroyd (also Triclops, Brubaker); plus drummer/metal percussionist Jason Willer (UK Subs, Nik Turner, Charger, The Mob).
Both the album opener “Satan’s Combover” and the title track were written BEFORE Trump stole 2016. The pandemic of sheer stupidity started long before, set by well-heeled arsonists all over the world. With plenty of help from all those rumors and fake stories spread all over the internet, by “People With Too Much Time on Their Hands.”
“A Boring Day is What I Need” is for anyone when Device Life means, “everything interrupting everything else” (!), at full Hardcore tempo. Followed by more HC with, “We Created Putin”; showing what’s right in front of our faces, that no punditoid seems to see.
Flip the LP for “The Last Big Gulp”, a Nomads/Lime Spiders-size Garage dancefloor crusher about what Jello calls Climate Collapse, adding organ from The Darts’ Nicole Laurenne.
“Taliban USA” is a near-Cyberpunk Bat Cave groover about what our Dark Ages Supreme Court has long had in mind.
We couldn’t sit on this any longer, so we’re pulling a Run the Jewels move here – and dropping the album on digital NOW. Download goes up right away, as all hell breaks loose around us. LPs and CDs when we get the damn things, with particularly strong and unforgettable artwork by Winston Smith.
So as germs and police riots rage, there’s no better primal scream therapy than a long-awaited new Jello Biafra album. From Dead Kennedys to Lard to the now-classic albums with the Melvins, DOA, NoMeansNo, Mojo Nixon; and of course, Jello Biafra and The Guantanamo School Of Medicine, “Tea Party Revenge Porn” is right up there with all of it.
Limited edition of 1000 clear vinyl will be available for pre-order in addition to black vinyl wide release. Physical orders will ship in January of 2021, with a digital release available upon pre-order. Digital album is available on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp.

Pre order for a January release, seriously, that’s outrageous, 2 and half month wait for a physical copy….

Jello wanted the album out before the election due to the theme and message of the album itself. However production delays meant that there was no way we could provide the physical in time, Pressing plant turn around times mean that the album will be physically delivered either right before or (more likely) right after the two-three week break for the holidays that plants take at the end of the year, meaning we won’t et the physical until January. We didn’t want the digital to come out with out providing people an opportunity to secure the physical LP for themselves.
Like most things, it’s not outrageous when you know the details. It’s just the reality we had to deal with due to the circumstances we were presented with.
You are free to wait until January to order it if you like.

I purchased the pre-order bundle today. I have not received either a receipt, confirmation or the thing I really want, the digital download as is says is provided “upon purchase”. I hate making this public business but since my customer service email was sent 7 hrs ago, and it’s now about the end of the business day Pacific. Please inform.

We announced this on social media, but there is a weird bug that has happened where our store application is not sending out confirmation emails or the digital download link. We are working on it, but if you emailed us directly this next week we can get you a code that will allow you download the album direct.
Meanwhile we are working with support to figure out what happened because on our end it all looks correct, but the emails are not going out. Sorry for the issues.

We are currently working on fixing a bug that popped up, that is making our store site not send out a confirmation email that would have the digital download link in it. Email us direct and we’ll get you a code to download your digital copy.

I was not able to give an order code as I have not received a confirmation email of order at all. This is my transaction code with PayPal: 7AX19344NR933112E
