Voodoo 5 Appearing This Saturday In San Francisco for TENTACLEFEST!

Alternative TentacleFEST storms back into San Francisco's legendary Great American Music Hall this Saturday, June 27th, with a stacked lineup of incredible artists from Alternative Tentacles Records! Next up in our artist spotlight: the one and only Voodoo 5!

Led by composer and guitarist Skip Heller; producer to and protégé of Robert Drasnin, orchestrator for Elisabeth Waldo, and bandleader for Yma Sumac, and featuring the powerhouse vocals of Lena Marie Cardinale, former El Vez Elvette and devoted disciple of the high priestess of exotica herself, Voodoo 5 delivers a live show unlike anything else on Earth.

They released their incredible take on Dead Kennedy's Moon Over Marin as part of their 7" debut on Alternative Tentacles last year and we haven't been able to get it out of heads ever since.

Their all-star ensemble blends deep exotica grooves, jazz virtuosity, and jaw-dropping musicianship into a performance that is equal parts lounge fantasy, tropical fever dream, and full-throttle musical adventure. They've wowed audiences everywhere from exotica festivals to legendary jazz clubs, and now they're bringing their unforgettable sound to Alternative TentacleFEST.

Trust us: you've never seen anything quite like Voodoo 5. You don't want to miss this incredible band.

Join us this Saturday, June 27th, at The Great American Music Hall with Wheelchair Sports Camp, Death Hymn Number Nine, Vic Bondi And His Issues, and Crisis Actor for a night that will be strange, loud, beautiful, and completely unforgettable.

Get your tickets now and we'll see you in the pit or at least sipping a mysterious cocktail somewhere near it.
